Volunteer Opportunities
Find Your Perfect Fit
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities across our different programs, allowing you to choose a role that aligns with your interests, skills, and availability. Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
Housing Support (Partnering with Milford Baptist Church):

- Assisting with light maintenance or organization of housing units.
- Helping welcome new families and provide orientation.
- Potentially assisting with transportation for residents (if applicable and with proper vetting).
Food Distribution
- Sorting and packing food boxes for weekly distribution.
- Assisting with the distribution process, interacting directly with community members.
- Helping with inventory management and organization.

Rent & Utilities Assistance Support

- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as data entry or filing (depending on confidentiality protocols).
- Helping prepare informational materials for applicants.
- Making follow-up calls to connect clients with resources (with appropriate training).
Food Furniture Program (Partnering with Furniture Bank of Atlanta)Distribution
- Assisting with the loading, unloading, and organizing of donated furniture.
- Potentially helping with minor furniture repairs or cleaning.
- Accompanying drivers on furniture deliveries (if applicable and with proper vetting).

Clothing Program (Partnering with Goodwill)

- Sorting, organizing, and displaying donated clothing items.
- Assisting individuals in selecting appropriate clothing.
- Helping with inventory and keeping the donation space tidy.
Bicycle Refurbishment Program

- Cleaning and basic maintenance of donated bicycles.
- Assisting skilled volunteers with more complex repairs (if you have mechanical aptitude).
- Helping organize the bicycle workshop.
General Support
- Assisting with administrative tasks, event planning, and fundraising efforts.
- Providing outreach support at community events.
- Utilizing specific skills you may have (e.g., graphic design, writing, social media).
